This is Rose. I am just slightly obsessed with wonderful linens. The exquisite Egyption cottons transformed to the "light as air" Italian and French sateens and crisp percales. Handmade and embroidered pieces from Madeira. I could go on and on and sometimes I do!
No one is a bigger fan than me of the gorgeous plush bath towels with lovely embroideries and appliques from our favorite European and American brands. However, I have to share with you something so basic, but so luxurious! These are the simplest of towels, just a narrow binding on the edge and no additional detail. Their called "Microcotton", this is trademarked and here is what I can tell you about them. They've been around a while and you may already have them. They are super soft and super absorbant. 100% very fine cotton in more than 20 perfect colors. No chemicals are used to produce these and are dyed with azo free dyes. I have lots of literature with scientific test results, but the bottom line is, these are really great!! I've become a real user of these towels and so has everyone else here! Oh yes, and they are not at all expensive. The same company makes other linens and even some bamboo and bath and bedding linens, I'll tell you about later.
